Biography of Murray Unruh

Born in St. Catharines in 1947 it wasn't until Murray was 12 years old that he realized he was visually impaired. Corrective lenses opened up a new world of light, colour, contrast and detail. This clarity of vision continually drew him to the country side to enjoy Niagara's beautiful surroundings. The passion for light and colour has lead this self taught artist to capture in both realistic and impressionistic tradition artistic works of the world around him.

After 25 years of honing his craft Murray is ready to embark on a new season of artistic endeavour where he will be making his art available to a public audience for viewing and purchase.
